Hi, I just wanted to let you know that we really enjoyed our stay in Casa Katarina. The house was very comfortable and the location was perfect! My kids spent lots of time in the pool since it was so hot, as well as lots of time on the beach and in the ocean. We all enjoyed seeing the sereque, jabali, and iguanas living in the wild areas across the street from the Casa and by the McDonalds. The rental agents from Vimex were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed them (e.g., for a leak under the kitchen sink). Thanks for a wonderful rental experience! Shanna Henk

Thank you for your note, we did indeed have an awesome stay at Rinconada del sol, in Playa. We are looking at returning to somewhere in Playa for 2010. We would also like to say the support we received from the staff was always generous, kind and over all very knowledgeable about everything. The small problems we had were handled promptly and efficiently. We also had a near fatal accident happen to our son who was staying at an all inclusive hotel while we were staying there. Sylvia was very kind and help us with a few copies of documents that the family needed to be air lifted home, and we will always remember the kindness shown to our family. We hope to use Vimex condo corporation again if something in our price range comes up, and we have given your company name to a few people who are looking as well. PK33 - Casa Dorothea was great, and as it worked out, I had a bedroom and bathroom all to myself -- along with the roof patio, it was a great place to hang out! I appreciated all the information about the town, restaurants, things to do, that you made available in the apartment. Wonderful location, so close to 5th Ave and the beach.

We had a wonderful time! PK33 proved to be an excellent home base. Overall it's just a really nice place and the complex is well kept and extremely convenient. A couple of PK33 amenities that really stood out were: -the showers are great -beds were very comfortable -the AC units worked quickly and effectively and were pretty quiet -loved having the private rooftop terrace space -- it got used every day for early morning reading and breakfast and drinks before dinner at night. In summary, it was a wonderful trip and having such a nice place to come home to was a big part of that.

Sylvia and the staff at VIMEX were great! They were very hlepful. Our stay at the Eclipse Condos was nice. Our water pump stopped working twice, but was fixed right away. This is a great location!

We had a condo in Playa Kaan for the month of February this year and had a wonderful time. This was the second year in a row at Playa Kaan and we are planning to return in 2009. Although Vimex manages units at several locations, Playa Kaan is ideally located close to everything, and the units are very comfortable and efficient. In addition to the beauty and charm of Playa del Carmen, the staff at Vimex made a very significant contribution to the enjoyment of our stay. In particular, Sylvia Rojo, Operations Manager, who we dealt with both in making our reservations and during our stay, is highly professional and efficient in everything she does. Also, the Security Staff at Playa Kaan were very helpful and friendly, and very diligent in their duties. Our planning for the trip and stay in Playa del Carmen were worry free. I highly recommend Vimex if you are planning a trip to Playa del Carmen.

We stayed in PK 21 (Playa Kaan Condos) from February 7th to the 28th, 2008. Had a great time. Sylvia, the property manager, was very helpful in the many questions we had during our visit. The complex was clean and minutes from 5th Avenue and the ocean. I would not hesitate to recommend this location for a great vacation in Mexico.

You can run to this destination with your eyes closed! It is absolutely everything you can dream of and perfect in every way. I can't wait to go back! Nathalie Canada

I loved staying at the condo. It was very specious and well decorated. It was right in town but not in the middle of it. The downside was that we wish we had a Ocean view and a few things needed to be fixed. Overall it was really great place to come back to at the end of daily activities. - Sachelle, Boston, USA

My husband and I had such an enjoyable and relaxing time staying at villamoderno condo (PK10) which was situated so conveniently in playa del carmen! We loved the accommodations, with such comfortable beds (especially important after many days and nights of fun), personal spa, well decked out kitchen, and wonderful pool! We can't emphasize enough about the location of this condo...within a short walking distance to the famous 5th ave. where all the action is and the wonderful beaches of the Caribbean. There are many off the beaten track places to explore from the condo also! So thank you and the wonderful management for helping make this condo a perfect place to visit!

The condo was gorgeous and ideally located with convenient access to the beach, 5th Avenue (the main strip) and numerous businesses. I would highly recommend staying at the Villa Moderno (PK10) in beautiful Playa Del Carmen.

Villa Moderno (PK10) is a quaint hideawy in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Close to the beach and the infamous 5th Avenue with all its activity, dining and shopping, its a quiet refuge at the end of the day. The pool and common areas are shady, calm and relaxing, the windows face the inner courtyard and its peacefulness and the jacuzzi is very private. We really enjoyed the convenience of the washer/dryer and kitchen and used them daily. We highly recommend Villa Moderno for your next trip to Playa del Carmen...you won't be disappointed!

My family loved our stay @ villa Moderno (PK10). The staff were absolutely wonderful to deal with and helpful when we encountered any problems, even those not relating to our stay. Villa Moderno (PK10) exceeded all of my expectations: located in the swankiest stretch of Playa Del Carmen, the condo provided the perfect jump-off point for all the trendiest clubs, bars, restaurants, and shops. Not to mention, a quick walk to the beach. The condo was equipped with everything you'd expect for a perfect vacation: beach towels, a hammock, a full size refrigerator and kitchen, purefied water, and soft sheets. But Villa Moderno (PK10) surprises with things you wouldn't expect: an iPod hookup to the stereo, an US-based phone for unlimited, free out and in calls to US numbers, a beautiful incandescent pool, and a private outdoor bath. Not only would I recommend Villa Moderno to all my friends, but I am already plotting my next trip back to Playa. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Moderno (PK10). The condo was comfortable, clean and nicely appointed. It was always a pleasure returning to the condo after the beach, a late dinner, or a long day sight-seeing (we had a car rental and took advantage of the condo's parking space). We enjoyed the condo so much we even decided to relax one night and stayed in with some takeout food and a bottle of wine. Will definitely be back!

Our stay at Villa Moderno was perfect. As soon as we arrived we knew we would have a wonderful stay. The location is unprecedented. We commented daily on how lucky we were to be so close to 5th, the beach, and our favorite nightclub La Santanera. You are in the middle of all the action yet when you close the gate to the condo complex everything is tranquil and peaceful. The condo itself is clean and comfortable. Having the condo on the ground floor next to the pool was convienent in the day for sunbathing but also ideal for relaxing at dusk. I am already trying to plan my next trip to Playa and will definetly stay at Villa Moderno again. Thanks.

Beautiful condo with all the amenities provided. Great location close to everything. The owner and the property managers went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. We could not have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy Cancun. The beach and pool areas were great. We appreciated the fact that the condo was gated and that security was on duty at all times. This is the first condo we have rented where we did not have to run out and get supplies immediately so that was a huge convenience. Some of the best perks: drinking water provided, washer and dryer in condo, free vonage calls to US & Canada, laundry supplies provided, paper towels, toilet paper and kleenex provided top of the line cookware and cutlery. We just spent a week at this property and it was everything that all of the other reviews promised. We felt very comfortable and completely enjoyed the beautiful views of the ever changing view of the ocean out front. Always love watching storms come in across the water. One of the few times the reality was far better than the pictures! The place was lovely and even bigger than the photos reveal. It is so functional and we really felt completely at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and it was such a bonus to have a washer/dryer to use. The owner of the unit and the staff at the condo made it extremely easy to relax and enjoy a trouble-free spot. The pools are beautiful, one is heated and the other not heated to suit any taste, the bartender's at the snack bar were attentive and the drinks/food was great. We just returned with 4 boys from this lovely condo. So much nicer and safer than any hotel, the pool was never crowded and a chair was always available. The staff was professional and polite. With a spa and snack bar, we lacked nothing a hotel could offer and had so much more privacy. What a magnificent place, beautifully decorated, spacious with wondrous views from all rooms. The clubs were within walking distance and the beach was one of the best in Cancun. I can't say enough great things about this place! It's been a week since we left the Alba condo, and already missing the charming environment. The place is really well situated, in the trendy little italy, where we found the best restaurants on the avenue. The nicest beach in PDC is nearby, but we enjoyed spending most of our time on the convenient rooftop terrace, and especially cooling off in the jacuzzi. We had very good night sleeps on the comfortable mattress, and the air conditionning works perfectly. We arrived late at night, and the condo manager made sure that everything would be settled upon our arrival, including key in a safe box. We are anxious the plan our next trip to PDC, and will definetly go back to Alba condo. - Anonymous, Montreal, Canada

E' il sesto anno (prima volta nel 1996) che trascorro parte delle ferie a PDC. Questa devo ammettere che è stata la migliore location che abbia mai avuto. L'appartamento è veramente completo di tutto, la terrazza è magnificamente fresca ed usufuibile e pur essendo a 50 m dalla quinta è veramente tranquillo. Pulizia interna e delle parti comuni del condominio (giornaliera) è impeccabile. Avere lavatrice ed aciugatrice è impagabile. La Vimex (amministrazione del condo) è cordiale e rapidissima ad aiutarVi per qualsiasi necessità. Consigli per i prossimi fortunati: 1) La spiaggia di PDC è diventata veramente pessima (affollata e rumorosa specie vicino al mamita's e al Kool) conviene noleggiare un auto (210$ a settimana) ed andare di giorno in altre spiagge decisamete migliori (Akumal, Xcalacoco, bahia kantuik a Puerto Aventuras o Tulum). 2) NON ANDATE a xcaret, Xel-ha e xplor!! Sono solo dei costosi (ca 100 $) luna-park per ricchi senza spirito. Se volete vedere pesci andate alla Laguna Yal-Ku di Akumal (10$) e se volete un po' di brivido andate a Punta Laguna (25$) dove dei veri Maya vi accompagneranno nella giungla poi in canoa e se volete in un cenote e con una carrucola ed imbragati vi faranno volare per 200 m sopra la Laguna. Fate tutto con un auto a noleggio e non con i tour che vi proporranno a Playa ogni dieci metri. 3) Se volete mangiare vero messicano NON andate sulla 5ª AV.(I ristoranti sono cari e spesso di pessima qualità) ma recatevi sulla 10 o sulla 30 (spendereta la metà e mangerete due volte meglio) Se invece volete mangiare internazionale dovrete rassegnarvi a rimanere sulla 5ª Ho lasciato sopra il televisore una guida dei ristoranti. 4) I siti Maya più belli sono Tikal (ma è in Guatemala), Yachilan, Bonanpak, Palenque e Coba. Chichen itza è famosa solo perchè è ricostruita ed e facilmente raggiungibile da Cancun e Tulum sono solo due torrette di pietra belle solo perchè sono vicino al mare. Se proprio volete andare a Chichen Itza evitate i tour organizzati (che arrivano là a mezzogiorno e ve la fanno visitare sotto al sole cocente) ma noleggiate un auto dormite una notte a Valladolid ( fate un bagno al cenote dzinup) ed visitate il sito appena apre. Non fatevi fregare dai cartelli stradali Chichen Itza CUOTA che portano tutti i turisti meno esperti sulla terribile strada a pagamento ma prendete la strada LIBRE che è gratis e passa attraverso bellissimi paesini o al limite passate da sud (Tulum, Coba) Buone vacanze. - Marco, Italy

My daughter and I spent 17 nights at Condo Alba, we loved it ! It was a safe place as my dauther and I were alone for our stay, we were not bothered by anyone and the place was very quiet although very well located ! About one minute from the famous 5th Ave and a few mintues more to get to the beach, which was beautiful. The management property used by the owner is excellent, we had great service. The condo is clean and well maintained and has all the comodities, it felt just like home.... I was not able to make the washer and dryer work but it didn't matter, there was a laundry mat at the corner and they washed our stuff for less than 1$ per kilo, you pick up your clothes clean and folder !!! We are on vacation after all, so why do the laundry at that price.... The super market (Mega) is at about 10 min walk and coming back with the grocery by taxi only costs about 2$, if you go a little further you will also find a Wal-Mart. Do not hesitate to rent this place, if you have the same experience I had, you will love it ! - Rita, Laval, Quebec, Canada

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo is in a perfect location. I really like this end of 5th Ave (Little Italy), it's a little quieter, but still in the thick of things. The neighbors were great, they really enjoy where they live too. We were a 45 second walk to 5th Ave, and an 8 minute (casual) walk to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, the outside covered deck off of the bedroom was perfect for morning coffee, or afternoon naps in the hammock. The rooftop deck was very private and caught the breeze, it had really comfortable loungers, and when we got too hot we'd stand in the hot tub and pour cold water over our heads! The convenience of wireless internet and free long distance home was awesome. They have Dish network on the TV too. I had two minor issues while there, we had friends that stayed for a few nights and she accidentally locked her safe without a code, and we needed a set of king size sheets for when we pushed the twins together. Both requests were handled very quickly by the condo management staff, for the safe they were there in 10 minutes!! Plenty of towels, everything worked great, there is separate a/c for the bedrooms. Liked the showers, very roomy. Loved having a washer and dryer. Loved being able to watch soccer games from the roof. Would highly recommend staying here. Would not recommend to people with any disabilites though because it is on the 3rd floor. Otherwise, it would be good for couples, families, etc. - Kim, RI, USA

I stayed at this condo for 9 days and I would say the condo is very roomy and comfortable and the management (Sylvia) was very attentive to our needs and I loved the deck off the master bedroom! It was fabulous. It was very handy to have a phone. The kitchen could be bigger, I found it to be way to small. I also could have used some more tea towels only had one. But all in all I have to say it was safe, clean and very close walking to the beach. - Pervina, Calgary, Canada

I Stayed in 2 of your condos in Jan. 2011 with a girlfriend. Both of the units were EXTREMELY clean and comfortable. You very graciously allowed us to see other units and they were just as nice as ours. The location is great you do not need a car. You can walk to all resturants, grocery stores and the beach in 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and accommidating. My husband and I will be returning in March, and we are looking forward to being in a SAFE, reasonable paradise once again. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful vacation.

BVG303 has been a lot of fun. Our family of 6 was very comfortable. Excellent choice with teenage kids, none of them wanted to leave! Vimex has been very helpful as well. Thank You! The penthouse (Playa Kaan 29) that we stayed in for a week (Dec. 26-Jan 2) was a truly comfortable and affordable place. The condo has every thing a family would need away from home to enjoy a vacation. I would like to thank the owners of this condo very much for allowing us to rent such a beautiful property. I would also like to thank the management team. Sylvia and Lucy (as well as the security) were so accommodating to our needs. They provided an excellent service the time we were there. Had a great time! Everything was just as Wayne said. I hope everyone enjoys themselves as much as we did. Suggestions: (1) Xplor – Our kids are 11 and 17 and they both enjoyed that the most. PS. The place was great, great view, great beach! We went to the Wet & Wild Park where there is a dolphin aquarium. Our kids (ages 4 & 2) had a great time there; would be good for kids of any age. We had good luck with the food at the snack bar by the pool! Calgary, AB. Canada.

Very glad we chose to stay here. Conveniently located near the beach, 5th Ave, and shopping at Wal-mart. The rooftop deck was a great bonus, private with a jacuzzi and outdoor bathroom. Clean and modern decor and Vimex Condos' management were quick to solve any minor problems. We had a problem with one of the ACs, and it was fixed the same day. We would stay here and use Vimex again.

What a wonderful week it was spending time in this condo. Whether you're looking for rest and relaxation or a fun-filled week with endless activities, this is the perfect spot. The concierge service provided amazing details on attractions that both tourist and the locals participate in. Most attractions were within walking distance. The pool is very pleasurable and the views are beautiful. For maximum relaxation, the condo it situated in the more quite part of town yet is still close enough to be a part of everything else. Playa del Carmen, itself, is very centralized. Cozumel is a short ferry ride across the Caribbean, Tulum and Cancun are a short drive away, and transportation to Chichen Itza is available. I recommend Playa del Carmen because you will lack the busy hustle and bustle of the resort-filled Cancun. The condo itself is very spacious and serene. I highly recommend spending your next vacation in this location. I doubt you will be displeased. I can't wait until next year!

Thank you so much to all of you. I can’t thank you all enough for being so wonderful and for going out of your way in many cases to help me feel at home in Playa, I had a beautiful experience. The staff was not only accommodating but helped me with anything I needed always sameday service as well.
