What to do in Riviera Maya?

It’s not always easy to know where to find good quality and value while visiting a tourist destination. Your best option is to ask the locals! Our recommendations are based on our personal experiences and also recommendations by our guests. We obviously cannot guarantee that you will have the same great experience, but we hope that you will. If you feel that we have missed something or would like to recommend a place, feel free to let us know. Enjoy!

Cenote Dos Ojos and swim with the giant turtles in Akumal – 120 USD / pax
The Riviera Maya is dotted with an abundance of naturally formed cenotes. This tour covers one of the most beautiful areas of the Riviera Maya; it is a unique opportunity to admire the beauty of the caves and experience the ancient stalactites and stalagmites that were formed thousands of years ago and to enjoy the cool waters of the cenotes.
Dos Ojos (Two Eyes) is located 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen. This cenote is world famous and has been documented by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful and scientifically interesting cenotes in the area.
The cenote "Dos Ojos" is a system of caves that were formed millions of years ago, when the oceans were 60 meters below its current level. Enjoy a morning of swimming and snorkeling in the cenote caves of Dos Ojos.
Akumal is a Mayan word that means "land of turtles". It remains one of the favorite places for the turtles to spawn. It is one of the only beaches in the Riviera Maya where you can actually swim with giant turtles in their natural habitat.
