As you may know, Tulum is a pre-Columbian Mayan Archaeological Site, one of the important Mayan Cities located on a spectacular 39 ft high cliff, along the Yucatan Peninsula. It was one of the last cities constructed and inhabited by the Maya on the Caribbean Sea, only 5 km south of Tulum Town and Tulum Beach.

It was one of the last cities constructed and inhabited by the Maya on the Caribbean Sea, only 5 km south of Tulum Town and Tulum Beach. The town is small yet, still, in my opinion an authentic taste of Mexico with friendly local people, souvenir and handicraft shops, great Mexican restaurants, and all with-in 5-10 minutes drive of the Sea and its world famous beaches. The beach in Tulum has been recognized by Trip Advisor as one of the best beaches in Mexico. The Beach area of Tulum and its surroundings, have a bohemian ambiance with everything you might require in a unique eco-chic life style. Small hotels and Cabaas produce their own electricity, recycle, compost and live eco conscious. Along the main Avenue there are not only hotels but, world-class restaurants with a wide selection of cuisines. Eateries range from fresh grilled, vegetarian, vegan & raw, to the best pasta, sea food and pizzas, not to leave out the home-made gelato. Tulum Beach is definitely a place to nourish your senses and satisfy your soul.
